Tiffany works with synthesizing metal nanocrystals with controlled morphology to be used as building blokcs for energy device storage applications via solvothermal methods. Thus far, BaTiO3, BaxSr1-xTiO3, BaxCa1-xTiO3, and BaxZr1-xTiO3 nanoparticles have been synthesized. Future goals involve developing hydrophilic inks dispersed with the synthesized nanoparticles. These inks will be used to print on various substrates via inkjet printer.
